I can see it sense he's playing a similar character in his current movie (teen with new powers learning to be a hero) but the reboot as a whole is going to turn away fans regardless. A new Green Goblin? A new Doc Oc? No thanks.
Meh, I'd rather see someone funny take the role. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, maybe? I don't know, I just want someone who can crack a few jokes and not constantly look like he's about to cry.
True, but Levitt definitely doesn't look 30, and he already has a working relationship with the new director from 500 Days of Summer. I just can't think of that young that's funny and could pull off a physical role. Maybe that kid from Zombieland? Nah. Michael Cera? I don't think I could ever buy him as an action hero. Maybe Justin Chatwin. He was pretty funny in the first season of Weeds, and he's gone on to be a pretty good actor, too.
True Levitt does still look young. Oh and all of the geekier guys could work in that they have their complete faces covered during the action sequences . I don't know much about Chatwin other than he starred in the DB movie (Which I hear is awful..but he cant be blamed for that) Personally the guy I would go with is already spoofing the whole thing in Kick-Ass..so yeah heh.
