But in Zombieland, he was still cool. He's just really entertaining. Believable and funny.
Jackie's awesome to watch in addition to being funny. He's cool because he can do all kinds of stuff and show off without seeming like he's showing off.

I don't really think it's like Austin Powers but I can kinda see the comparison.
