It's pretty much brilliant. The way they incorporated Cap's red stripes into the suit as a harness is genius. It still pretty much looks like classic Cap, but all of the elements have been made more practical. This is by far my favorite Marvel movie suit.

I think the costume looks good.

...and two of those poses are definitely familiar.

I'm pretty sure the second one was taken from an old Wolverine cover (done by Marc Silvestri if I'm not mistaken)

And the third pose is DEFINITELY from an old Uncanny X-men cover done by Jim Lee.

I really like this version...
In it's mayor part is based on ULTIMATES Vol 1 costume... That was a great costume... a fusion of world war hero Cap... and a modern fashion... ...
That helmet/mask really give the Cap that look of soldier that the classic design flawless... I like this one... maybe a little less complexity in the details of the suit... but in global it is a real good adaptation...
Hope they based Cap's personality in ULTIMATES too...

Not a 100%! It looks good for the most part, but they could change a few things.

First, I like what they did with the straps for the stripes. Also, the design on the blues and color lay out. Cool , but the shoulder pad thing is just not working for me. This is a guy who jumps out of planes with no parachute. He doesn't need shoulder pads. I think they are on the right track. However, a few minor tweaks are in order.

yea, bring back the wings! Looks cool but if the film is set during world war II then i would like to see something maybe not as modern. This looks a lot like a super hero costume or uniform. Cap is a soldier so i imagine that he would where what every other soldier would where but modified a bit for him. There's my 2 cents.
