I like the new one. The first one was cool, don't get me wrong. But, I have a strong affinity for CGI. Loved the animation. It also incorporated all of the characters of the universe and it gave me a sense of excitement to see more. Even though it was shorter then the first it still touched a nerve for me.
The newest was better - as a teaser it gives you a better idea of the universe just because of the variety of characters and it was much more succinct and to the point. The first one is cool - but it's more like a mini cartoon which doesn't leave you thinking as much as the new.
What's that about? Who are they? How do they relate? pretty much all the questions that make you want to know more come from teaser 2 - where as teaser 1 just leaves me thinking - that was cool.
First just because there wwas a story and fight scenes, the music in the newest one was better, and it would make a good intro scene for the series if you got lazy.
while the cg one looks a little more professional, it also looks cheaper, the 2d one looks great and just needs a little more work, so in short: 2d = win.
