it looks meh, but these are un doctored photos. this costume probably looks much better after lighting, in the correct framing, and after digital cleanup.

i haven't read much about the film, but i'm a big fan of the Cap. This looks like a throw-back (obviously), and i bet they use a wash filter during filming like they do with most WW2 era throw-back films. Thus, these pictures don't really do it justice. Mark my words, that whole scene would look awesome with a silver wash.
