I like it. Anne is unexpected, but not bad. Bane is definitely unexpected but also a great choice. With the Arkham escape a lot more villians could be alluded to for the possible future movies.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO why her, damn anyone pretty much any other half decent actor would have done. Not happy about that in the slightest. I would rather you bring back Michelle to do it even though she may not be age appropriate.
Well, believe it or not, she's proven she can play "sexy" in the "Get Smart" remake. i'll give her reasonable benefit of the doubt. besides, nobody suspected Heath Ledger to do ANYTHING, lol.
Hey Heath was a great actor long before Joker, Sin Eater and A Knight's Tale are proof enough that he, at least acted, something most "actors" who just play themselves nowaday, do not.
oh i agree that he was a good actor, don't get me wrong. i'm just saying that if you had to pick someone to play the joker, would Heath Ledger seriously be on your list? that's my main point there. no one suspected such a great job from him in a comic book movie, playing joker, lol. and he more than delivered. i'm hoping the same can be said for Anne Hathaway.
I'm more concerned about how they'll do Bane, I have full confidence in Anne and it seems the actor choosen to play Bane is Nolan's new poster boy so we may have a nice character there, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went the "dumb drugged muscle" way again and that would suck
yeah, that would suck. but if catwoman and bane are the only major villains, i can't imagine they'd waste the character like that. intelligent, calculating, thug for hire bane would be way more appropriate for a feature villain than drugged-up-one-word bane. if they went the dumb bane route, might as well throw killer croc in there, lol. we'll see all the same.

i hope this doesn't fail i like Christopher Nolan's vision of batman...
About Bane, I hope they play him as an equal tactician and combatant to Batman, wich is what he is, not just as a mindless brute again.
