Are we sure this is really for the new movie? I mean, Craig Ferguson is always making fun of some dude who runs around Hollywood Blvd in a Spider-Man costume and this fits the discription.
WHAT THE FLOATING FUCK IS THAT!! he looks better in the previous pic of him just standing there all emo, cause it looked grittier and darker, here it just looks...like ...a floater in the toilet...sticks out way to much!!
i think seeing any footage of this before it's finished is bad. Spidey fans are way too unforgiving, lol. we may psyche our selves out of a good spidey-movie-going experience. he does look weird, though. but i'm sure CGI is going to add to a lot of the look when he's actually swinging. and we have to remember that spidey started out as an awkward gangley teenager, both before and after his transformation. go and look back at some early Steve Ditko work and you'll see what i mean. the artwork was weird and oddball and that was the attraction of the character. we may see a more "Ditko-esque" Spider-man this time around, especially since they seem to be centering on his highschool years more prominently. i'm not saying i necessarily like the direction the new look is taking, but lets remember that this thing is far from finished, ppl.
