Eh, I've officially fallen backwards off the fence now. It looks really cheesy, and not the good kind of cheesy. Wow, that costume design. Total yick.
That, and the batting average of DC Movie Adaptations is absolute piss. I'm still reeling at how badly they dropped the ball on Jonah Hex.
To add to that, my excitement was wavering to begin with. The Green Lantern is one of my least favorite super heroes because of how absurdly overpowered he is. Excuse me, DC, the color yellow is NOT a weakness. Hal Jordan becomes the epitome of generic chump superheroes. Being able to conjure up just about anything from thin air like a schizophrenic God does not an interesting superhero make.
Lastly, I hate Ryan Reynolds. He's the Buddhist Dane Cook.

You can already hear the reviewers complaining about the amount of CG though.
DC has learned with their failures I guess (Catwoman and Jonah Hex)
I am sure this will be a good, maybe great, adaption of the comicbook.
