Wow, I am impressed! I can already hear the die hard fanboys outraging, though. Personally, I like the how the suit doesn't look so orthodox with the texture, and I like how his hair makes him look more like a complete badass. I know, I know, this is Superman we're talking about, but it looks like Snyder re-tailored the Man of Steel to fit his own film style, and after seeing 300, Watchmen, and the suck bomb that was Suckerpunch; this take on Superman gives me hope for this movie. The only thing I'm not a complete fan of is the "S", but you can't always have your cake and eat it too.
never been a huge Supes fan, I'm a Batman kinda guy, but I did enjoy Bryan Singer's "Superman Returns" which starred Brandon Routh as the man of steel, sure it was long and the "superkid" could have been handled better, but I thought it was a fitting homage to the original Donner/Reeve "Superman" films. I would have given Singer/Routh another shot....Zack Snyder is doing this film so you'll know to count on at least 50% of it to be in slow motion. ;D
The suit looks ok but the problem is in that they keep using a very strong texture on the suit (and on the symbol on the chest too) and it doesn't give out that "slik" suit look. Looks more like a Thor armor instead. And I'm not even gonna get in to his hair yet... other than that the overhall "felling" of the image is awesome. Let's wait and see...

Overall he looks better than Routh IMO. But the design on the suit I think looks somewhat out of place and his hair looks a bit off.
