It is much more difficult for someone to take your wealth from you, especially if you have parlayed your wealth into power because of the luxuries, freedoms and audiences it affords you. Wealth if respected and utilized correctly can do a great many things, including in some cases purchase good looks. Plastic surgeons are a dime a dozen and a great many beautiful women can be found around men of opulence!!!

I don't see anything about being really really ridiculously ugly, so, money for me.

There's a good chance of getting ridiculously wealthy with looks. On the other hand, wealthy people only have surgeries to get looks which oftentimes look obviously fake and hideous.

Speaking of surgery, I remember when the family and I were at the mall and we saw this Filipino woman with blonde hair, boob and nose job and bleached skin but her kids were so obviously Filipino and not the good looking type at that. Guess, the kid's were not old enough to augment and the genes showed through what money could buy the mom. LOL
