I've only seen Dark City and Serenity of those five so I can't really judge the other morally, but being a person on the internet its my obligation to say that the other suck lol jk like I said never seen them so I won't judge. Anyways, of the two Serenity is my go to movie of choice. Dark city is a once every two years movie, but I can watch Serenity several times a month.
Dark City FTW! A great sci-fi mystery with romance, aliens, and superpowers, it's one of my favorites! Gattaca is another good one, but not half as exciting. Silent Running is a classic, but I'm afraid that as ahead of it's time as it was it still stuck in the 70's. It's not one of those timeless films like 2001 or Star Wars. To me Serenity was just a long TV episode... and I wasn't that crazy about the show Haven't seen Primer, but I'll put it on my netflix list today.
Agreed 100%. I did really enjoy Firefly though, could have been great if Fox stuck with it. Dark City is just awesome though; I've always felt it was way underrated.
